Measuring guide for curtains and Blinds
Before measure your curtains, the first step is to decide whether you want track or pole to hang the curtain. First of all, measure the width of your curtain track or pole. Please bear in mind that track or pole needs to be wider than the window frame 10cm-15cm (4"-6") that will allow the curtains to stack. It should be positioned about 10cm-15cm (4"-6") above the top of the window frame.
Curtains are sold in pair, and sizes refer to each individual curtain when laid flat. For Example, if your window measures 167cm x 300cm
It is advisable to make a plan of each Window and transfer all the measurements onto it for future reference. Never presume that two Windows are exactly the same size even if they look identical.
AG Designers can help you make a plan on the CAD for your Windows. Please take the measurements of your curtains using the following instructions and also take few photographs of your Windows, Interiors and Exteriors. This will enable us to design the Curtain according to your interiors.
Fit the track or pole before taking measurements.
How to measure the length of track or pole
Measuring for Curtain Drop

Always measure curtain track or pole, not the window while measuring curtain width. If you are planning to fit track or pole, this should extend 15cm to 30cm either side of the window and about 12cm to 15cm above the window recess.
A - measure the curtain track from end-to-end
If you have a rail with a centre overlap, measure the rail as mentioned above, then measure the overlap the add the two measurements together.
Total Track Width = A + B
Curtains are best hung either to the floor, to a sill or below the sill. AGD recommend that curtains finish either:
A. 1cm above the floor
B. 15-20cm (6"-8") below the sill (2cm above the radiator)
C. 1cm above the sill
Always measure in atleast 3 positions across the track or pole as floors or sills are rarely level. TO avoid the curtains dragging across the floor or sill, AGD recommend that you use the shortest of these 3 measurements.

What is the delivery time?
AG Designers aims to deliver the order within 5-6 weeks. If there is any kind of delay or fabric is not available, we will contact you immediately. Depending on the fabric, delivery time may be reduced.

Order Cancellation
Yes, you can cancel the order. We can only guarantee a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of placing the order. After 24-hour period, you will only receive a 50% refund if the work has already started on your curtains or blinds.
Can I wash my fabrics in Washing Machine?
We won't recommend to wash your fabrics in the washing machine. The fabric color might fade or shrink and linings can get ruined. Curtains can be Dry Cleaned only. Please bear in mind that it can shrink by 2-3% during this process. Keep your curtains/fabric cleaned with the Vacuum Cleaner on regular basis.
How heavy are my curtains?
Depending on the type of fabric, weight will vary. Sheer curtain fabrics are the lightest and velvet fabrics are normally the heaviest. Unlined curtains are lighter than lined and interlined curtains. Please check your curtain track or pole before you order your curtains to make sure it can take the weight of the heavy curtains. For any further advice, pleae contact AG Designers team and we will be happy to advise you.
Return Policy?
AG Designers always believes in Customer Satisfaction. We want you to be happy with our service and we as a team are always there to sort out your problem. We will accept returns and consider replacements or full or partial refunds if there is any major problem with the quality or manufacture of the fabric. We cannot accept any returns in the event of any wong measurements provided to us.
What happens if my measurements are wrong?
Please contact us as soon as possible and our design team will try to sort your problem. If the work has started, it might be too late to make any amendments. You can either continue or cancel the order and get your 50% refund.
How my curtains/blinds/cheeks will be delivered?
Once your curtains are ready, we will contact you before the delivery. And arrange a convenient time for your delivery
